Review Guidelines

Reviews are extremely helpful for us! They let us know what you think about the product we’ve made, and they let other people know if it’s the right product for them. That said, there are some things that help us more, and some things that help us less. Here are some tips that help make the most of your review.

  1. Write an honest review

We at Kali love to hear feedback about our products, but we’re not looking for false praise. An honest bad review does more for us and for other users than a dishonest good review. This lets us know where we have room to improve, and what use cases we might not be addressing. We hope that you love our products and want to rave about them! But we want to know if that’s not the case as well.

If you’re posting a review to a retailer’s website, make sure they’re the retailer from whom you bought the product, and that it’s the product you bought. If your review doesn’t match your product registration, the review may be removed. If you just got the product, you might want to wait for a period of time to get used to how it works before you review it.

  2. What to say

Don’t know what to write? Here are some things that might be helpful:

    • What are your overall impressions of the product?

    • What features do you like about the product?

    • What features do you dislike about the product?

    • How do you use the product? Is there anything special about your particular use case?

    • What else were you considering buying? Are you happy that you ended up with the Kali product? Why or why not?

    • Does the product meet your expectations based on how we represent it?

  3. Ratings

Leave as many or as few stars as you think is fair, but here’s some ways to think about rating systems:

    • 5-Star: I love this product! Given the choice, I would definitely buy it again. It is a better value than anything else at the pricepoint.

    • 4-Star: I like this product. Given the choice, I would probably buy it again. There are other products at similar prices that might be close in performance, but I think this is as good or better.

    • 3-Star: This product is okay. Given the choice, I may or may not buy it again. There are other products at the same price that are as good or better.

    • 2-Star: This product is bad. Given the choice, I would probably not buy it again. There are other products at the same price or cheaper that are better.

    • 1-Star: I hate this product. Given the choice, I would definitely not buy it again. It is the worst product for its price.

  4. Where to review

Reviews on retailers’ websites, enthusiast forums, and social media are all great!
